We are extremely conscious about our environment and local surroundings. Recycling is the key word at The Plough. When we took over the Plough little did, we know the site also came with a substantial piece of land. This has now become our allotment allowing us the fantastic opportunity to grow a large proportion of our own fruit, salad, and vegetables here on site. Investment in our own full-time gardener along with poly tunnels, greenhouses and fruit cages place us in a very enviable position to offer homegrown produce in our meals – and how much different it tastes when its been picked fresh that day.

2021 will see the allotment expand again to not only supply the pub, but also our local community via The Veg Shed
